Six Weeks of Growth
Develop your voice, write with more confidence, and create a path toward completing your work. I’ll give you a prompt at the end of each class that becomes next week’s assignment. Start a new piece or revise a current one!
-
Individualized Feedback
You’ll be part of a cohort of 6 that meets for two hours each week. You’ll have the opportunity to hear your work read out loud twice during the course. I’ll give you individualized feedback that aims to inspire you and keep you writing.
-
A Positive Creative Space
Come join a community of artists who feel joy in creating something new, who want to learn from each other and bring a little more light into their writing process.
Mary Bacon, 2025 Workshop Student
“A great writing workshop lights a fire under your creativity; you are inspired to write, and you do! Michele Lowe's demanding yet supportive class structure kept me writing and improving - as did the whole class. She's meticulous, and she's rigorous, enthusiastic, and definitive about the work; she passes on her passion for writing to her lucky class participants. She's a terrific writer and helps you become one, too. If you are smart enough to take her workshop, you're likely to see me there, and other former students, as none of us wanted it to end.”
Read Mary’s Tiny Love Story, “Love After Loss” written in class and published by the New York Times.

Meet your coach.
I’ve been a professional writer and coach for over 25 years and I love helping writers reach their full potential. The new year is a great time to start a new project or make progress on a current one! I know recent events have left many emerging artists feeling discouraged and alone, so I created The Lowe Writers Workshop as a safe, encouraging space to uplift new works and voices. Let’s shine some light in the darkness and get to work!
