MUCK is a retelling of the story of Joseph; but this time the story is about a girl named Jessica. In 1996, Jessica’s jealous brothers toss her into a well in upstate New York and leave her for dead. Over the next quarter century, she educates herself and becomes a much sought-after exec. But deep down she wants to claim her legacy and return to the Hudson Valley. A story about holding onto your dreams, even when your family’s a nightmare.

THE GREATEST

First play in a trilogy developed at Sundance Theatre Lab and Keen Playwrights Lab

December1963. The Neve family and their neighbors on the south shore of Long Island are getting ready for Christmas. It’s not just the new year that’s coming, but overwhelming change in America. Murder and violence, homophobia, PTSD, the longing for creative fulfillment and stirrings of feminism all suffuse this story, set to the music of Miles Davis, about a community struggling with how to move forward when they can’t see what’s ahead.
